Dan Bass made the 1893 horseback run into the Cherokee Strip to found D.C. Bass & Sons Construction Company and we are still running. Since that pioneer start, Bass Construction Company's exclusive involvement in general construction has made us the oldest General Contractor in the seven state area of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Texas, Colorado and New Mexico and one of the oldest contractors west of the Mississippi River.
